Development Charges Update for Blue World City Investors

Blue World City Islamabad, the world’s largest tourist City is becoming popular day by day but recently there were rumors that they have started charging development charges. Upon this, a lot of objections were raised by the realtors and investors that it just became mandatory to give you a reality check on this. So, let’s get started:

Blue World City has always been clear about its price plans, including land costs and development charges of Blue World City. From the very beginning, they mentioned openly in their terms and conditions and payment plans that development charges would be implemented separately.

Due to the increasing dollar rate and fuel prices, and higher costs for importing construction materials such as steel, the development charges have been amended accordingly. Moreover, the estimated development cost per marla was previously set at PKR 285,000 and has now increased to around PKR 300,000 due to the higher fuel costs and dollar rates.

However, Blue World City Islamabad is offering its investors a discounted rate between PKR 115,000 to PKR 130,000 per marla, a 50% discount that the company is bearing as a loss to provide relief to its valued clients.

Due to these variables, the expected development charges per marla have risen from PKR 285,000 to around PKR 300,000. However, Blue World City Islamabad is offering its investors a discounted fee ranging from PKR 115,000 to PKR 130,000 per marla, a 50% drop that the company is suffering as a loss in order to provide relief to its valued customers.

We understand the challenges associated with Blue World City’ NOC approval, but we are sure that we will be able to provide good news shortly as Blue World City management is actively trying to secure it.
